Three steps to start.

    Run the installer.

    Windows may ask for permission because WARADO installs a desktop app.

    Find the tray icon.

    Look beside the clock. If it is hidden, click the small ^ arrow.

  3. 3
    Press Ctrl + Space.

    Hold, speak, release. Give the first result a little longer while the models load.

Does my recording leave my computer?

No. This release runs speech recognition and cleanup on your Windows computer.

Why is the installer so large?

The speech and cleanup models are included so WARADO can work offline after installation.

Will it be fast on an older laptop?

Maybe not. The first dictation is slower while the models load, and weak hardware can remain noticeably slower. A lighter mode is one of the clearest next improvements.

Who built it?

WARADO is built by Paperboy on the MIT-licensed Handy foundation. This release has its own product decisions, defaults, local cleanup layer, and installer.
