Smart dictation
Adds punctuation and cleans obvious filler while guarding the meaning of what you said.
Private Windows dictation that puts your words wherever the cursor is. Your voice is processed on your computer.
Windows 10/11 • v0.1.0 • offline after installation
01 / HOW IT WORKS
Click inside an email, document, message, or any other text field. Hold a shortcut, speak, then release.
Adds punctuation and cleans obvious filler while guarding the meaning of what you said.
Keeps closer to the raw words when you want the transcript with less cleanup.
02 / WHERE YOUR VOICE GOES
Speech recognition and text cleanup run locally. WARADO does not need an account, a subscription, or a word allowance.
03 / THE FIRST RELEASE
If the cursor can accept text, WARADO can put the transcript there.
The product is being tuned for both. Mixed-language accuracy still needs more testing across real accents and laptops.
The installer includes about 1.1 GB of local AI models. The first dictation is normally the slowest, and weaker laptops can take longer.
04 / DOWNLOAD
The installer is the same at every amount. Support is optional.
05 / AFTER DOWNLOAD
Windows may ask for permission because WARADO installs a desktop app.
Look beside the clock. If it is hidden, click the small ^ arrow.
Hold, speak, release. Give the first result a little longer while the models load.
No. This release runs speech recognition and cleanup on your Windows computer.
The speech and cleanup models are included so WARADO can work offline after installation.
Maybe not. The first dictation is slower while the models load, and weak hardware can remain noticeably slower. A lighter mode is one of the clearest next improvements.
WARADO is built by Paperboy on the MIT-licensed Handy foundation. This release has its own product decisions, defaults, local cleanup layer, and installer.
